The DoorBird IP Video Door Station features an open API and a local interface for integration with third-party systems and SIP. It supports video and audio calls on smartphones, tablets (iOS, Android), as well as IP and landline phones (SIP).
Smart Transmission Mode (STM) enables real-time audio and video communication optimized for mobile devices via WiFi, 3G, 4G, and 5G. It is compatible with various smart home and NVR systems, including Control4, Loxone, Crestron, Synology, AVM FRITZ!Fon, URC, QNAP, RTI, ELAN, Fibaro, and Bang & Olufsen.
The system includes an automatic door buzzer suitable for medical offices and office environments. It offers a free visitor history feature, allowing users to store still images for free, with optional video recording available. Individual action schedules can be set, such as an RFID card that grants access only on Wednesdays from 9 AM to 11 AM, or a 4D motion sensor that activates an external lamp between 9 PM and 6 AM.
Geofencing enables automatic door and gate opening when returning home. The door station has night vision capabilities, supported by 12 infrared LEDs, and provides HDTV video with an ultra-wide-angle hemispheric lens of 180°. A light sensor is included for night vision mode.
The microphone and video intercom ensure clear voice transmission, with noise reduction and echo cancellation (AEC, ANR). The RFID reader is configurable remotely via an app, and the motion sensor utilizes 4D technology, with a detection distance of up to 10 m (32.8 ft), adjustable via the app.
The call button features a backlit nameplate, and the intercom connects easily to the network through a network cable or bell wire using the 2-Wire Ethernet PoE Converter “DooBird A1071.” It has two freely configurable bistable switching relays, allowing control of two doors or gates via the app, with configurable status for temporary or permanent circuits.
The keypad module can be configured via the app and manages more than 500 individual PIN codes, with options for individual events such as triggering a relay or sending HTTP(s) requests.
