The LiftMaster MATDCBB3 Mega Arm Tower Gate Operator, LiftMaster Mega Arm Barrier Gate Operator, is a DC-powered addition to the LiftMaster gate opener lineup. Featuring a 24V DC motor, this model provides excellent starting torque and continuous operation, making it suitable for a variety of applications. Its aluminum alloy chassis ensures corrosion resistance and is light enough for easy installation by a single person. The heavy-duty gate opener supports up to 6,000 cycles per day and operates at a speed of 2.5 seconds to open or close.
The Mega Arm stands out with its innovative design and robust engineering. It includes a state-of-the-art universal electronics control board that eliminates the need for mechanical limit switches, relays, and contactors. Arm position is managed by a magnet on the drive shaft, detected by two magnetic sensors on the electronics controller. The full-service controller can accept inputs from various devices such as telephone entry systems, loop detectors, card readers, push buttons, and barcode scanners, and it includes a multiple vehicle memory buffer. It also provides regulated 24VDC backup power for accessories like detectors and receivers. The breakaway arm design allows for multiple reuses, and its modern design and advanced technology make it a great choice for parking control applications.
