The Aiphone IX-DVF-PR is a flush-mount IP video door station that features a built-in AC-PROX-1G proximity card reader. This vandal-resistant door station can be either surface or flush mounted. The intercom component connects using Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable to a PoE switch for power and communication. The proximity reader connects to an access control system via a standard Wiegand interface.
In addition to the proximity reader, the IX-DVF-PR includes a camera, microphone, and speaker for visitor screening. The camera is equipped with an LED for low-light illumination. When the call button is pressed, the station calls its programmed destination. The AC-PROX-1G is a 125 kHz Wiegand proximity reader with a non-contact read range of up to 6 inches. It is compatible with Aiphone 40-bit credentials and certain HID®, AWID®, and Pyramid credentials, requiring a connection to a compatible access control system.
